The Journey
Once upon a time. there was a little girl who loved to write stories. She made simple books by sewing pages together with coloured wool were simple, and people loved the stories she told.
The years rolled by and she typed her scribbled notes, keeping them safe; with her journey into adulthood, the characters keeping her company in her imagination were ever increasing and they found it overcrowded and wanted to be set free.​
Hearing their pleas. she finally set about devoting more time to completing each story and sending her characters on their journeys. Who knows how far they will travel, Claire hopes they will reach and entertain you.​​
About Me
Living in theSouth West of England I often find inspiration from my beautiful surroundings. I enjoy guiding my characters through their journeys, which have mainly been scripts, although I also write short stories, and the occasional poetry.

I was delighted when two of my screenplays were chosen as finalists in the 2023 Page Turner Awards, and thrilled when my short audio play won Theatre West's, 'Making an Exhibition of Yourself' in 2024.

I continue to scribble away at every opportunity as new characters find me; I look forward to introducing them to you.
